Please note: for the open response below: The use of generative AI tools is not allowed. While such tools may be useful in some situations, they are at odds with fostering deliberate and confident decision-making and interrupts or replaces processes of creativity, sometimes at their origin. In other words, relying on AI prevents you from gaining experience in your craft. All work, including application entry, should be prepared by the student. Participation in this program requires adherence to this policy.

Class is on campus each Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., including free dinner starting September 30, 2025 with Director, Dana Edell at the Paramount Center.

There is no virtual option for class.

EmersonTHEATER's Fall 2025 program will run from Tuesday, September 30, 2025, through Tuesday, December 9, 2025. This year's showcase will take place on Saturday, December 13, 2025, and there will be a final class to debrief the year after the showcase on Tuesday, December 16, 2025.

Our mandatory orientation for our Pathway Programs (EmersonWRITES and EmersonTHEATER) will be Saturday, September 27, 2025, from 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. Location is TBD and will be provided to students and parents/guardians over email in advance.

This year, we are also offering an all-day College Access Information event on Saturday, November 15, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Location is TBD and will be provided to students and parents/guardians in advance of November.

Please note that due to classroom capacity limits, students may be offered a waitlist placement or may be encouraged to apply next year if they are not accepted into our 2025 program year. With that said, please only apply if you are certain you can commit to the rehearsal schedule and take part in the showcase.
