Experience Emerson Live: Writing a Compelling Protagonist

Join us for a virtual glimpse into our Writing for Film and Television (MFA) program! 

During this interactive session, you'll hear from Emerson screenwriting faculty about ways to craft a layered, complex protagonist for your screenplay or pilot script. From your protagonist’s backstory and flaws, to how they interact with the world of your story, you’ll leave the session with new ideas for how to breathe life and depth into your main character. Admissions staff will also be available to answer any questions you may have about the program or application process.
